Beauty Craziness

I've just been surfing on the internet, because I was bored and came across some videos. When I saw these two videos, I wasn't sure if I should laugh or actually be shocked. But it made me think, this is where we are going with the beauty craziness nowadays. I wished, young girls wouldn't have to grow up in a society, where everything is defined over beauty. They should have a careless childhood and instead they already feel pressured to meet certain looks. It kind of makes me sad. It seems a lot of ppl would do all kind of things, to look like the models on adds, in the magazines and on tv. The interesting thing is, that we are all different and individual. We don't have the same taste, so why should we all look the same. 

And the message we send out is, that personal qualities are only secondary. I am not proud of what we do to the younger generations. We should invest more in the right way of bringing our children up and make sure they have enough self esteem and confidence, so they can go through life with a healthy mind and body.

Tips for Finding Mr. Right

The days get colder and there is less sunlight keeping up our mood. This is - how I find - the time were singles start to feel more lonely. It would be nice to have a partner, someone we can cuddle, go for a coffee and have good conversation, spend the evening and share a nice dinner with ... But it shouldn't just be anyone to fill the gap. In best case, we want to find "Mr. Right". But how do we find him or make him find us. I'd like to add something to the article though. I think if you want something to change in your life, you have to become active. We can't just wait for something to happen and on top expect it to be the way we want it to be. Are you waiting or creating? If you don't meet any guys/girls at all, you make it hard for yourself to find someone. So get yourself out there and DON'T fear failure or rejection. They are natural and part of life. But they also help us to get stronger and closer to find the right person.

Sometimes it's the small things that make me happy the most. At least I kept one thing from being a child - being fascinated and captured by looking at nature's beauty. There is nothing else that can compete with it and it's always there and for free. 

Borough Market London

I went to see a friend in London two weeks ago. Since I've nearly seen all of the tourist attractions there and we wanted to spend some time outside, we decided to go to a market. I would recommend Camden to everyone who hasn't been there before. And although it's probably my favorite place in London, I wanted to see something new. So we went for Borough Market.

Borough Market is the most renowned food market in London. It has to offer English and international quality food. The variety is amazing and it's not too big. So u will get through it in reasonable time. I was fascinated by a juice stand. They sold all kind of freshly made juices. I was positively surprised, how many ppl stood in the line to order there. Seems like ppl (or at least some of them) do care about their health. I of course lined up too :-) I think I picked the "Green Deluxe" which had cucumber, wheat grass, apple, celery and spinach or so in it. Can't remember exactly. Was quite strong, because of the wheat grass. But it felt good, putting something healthy into my body whilst being exposed to the hectic city life.

Hamabama - der gesunde, schnelle Imbissshop

Ich war am Wochenende in Luzern und besuchte das Hamabama. Das Hamabama ist eine kleiner Imbissshop mit dem Ziel... 

"eine vollkommen gesunde Ernährungskultur einer breiten Bevölkerung schmackhaft zu machen."

Zu haben gibts da 100% natürlich und frisch gepresste Säfte, Smoothies (normale Smoothies, Joghurtsmoothies und Sorbetsmoothies), Power Shots für extra Energie, Salate und Frozen Joghurt. 

Ich bin total süchtig nach Frozen Joghurt und hab mich deshalb dafür entschieden. War super lecker. Die Kundschaft wurde wirklich schnell bedient und es schien besonders bei jungen Leuten gut anzukommen.Wer in Luzern oder Basel ist, soll also unbedingt mal im Hamabama vorbei schauen. Schaden kanns ja nicht - im Gegenteil.
